Birthday Gift for 14 yr girlfriend?

So my gfs birthday is coming up, and we havent been together that long so i dont want to get some really expensive gift.

I was going to get her some flowers and skittles which are her favorite candy

but one thing i wanted to know was, since she loves to read

should i just get her a borders gift card

or which book?

Borders gift card sounds good if she likes to read. Don't get her books, I'm sure she likes to choose them herself.

But I would suggest the gift card and Skittles.

I'm sure she'd love that - even just the thought you put into it.

Please, no stuffed animals with an 'I Love You' tshirt on. 14 is a bit old for that.
Reply:maybe a teddy bear, if she likes books maybe you should get her a book, but dont get just a book. I reccomend Twilight by Stephanie Meyers, its a book any teen girl would love.

Reply:gift cards are the best!! flowers are nice too!! whenever your not sure indirectly ask her or take her somewhere where she may say "i'd like to have that" or "aww thats adorable!" if your still not sure exactly what to get her, ask her mother, or get her a few things like flowers and a little gift card. don't forget a sweet birthday card, sometimes thats all it really takes!
