A friend of mine told me that he would give me flowers for my birthday, but then we had an arguement, and haven't spoken for a while. My birthday is coming up soon, and i want to ask if he was still going to give me flowers, but i dont want to sound rude, but i want to know if they'll keep their promise. after i ask, i also wanted to apologize for what i said in our argument. I just need a perfect, polite way to ask about the flowers, without sounding too needy or rude.
How do i ask someone if they are still giving me a present?
I suggest that you apologize for what you said and then just wait to see if she gives you the flowers. It sounds like you still want to be friends. True friendship is worth more than flowers.
Reply:beat them to the punch, buy one flower and write a little note, think a day or two on what to say so that you get it right in your own words. You probably wont have to say much of any thing, the flower will say it all. Plus it would probably be the first flower he ever got so that in it self would make it unforgettable
