My friends forgot my birthday-or didnt care?

My birthday is in the summer. So i kind of expected a little something on the first few days of school. But no nothing, It was like my b day never happened. Its not that im mad i didnt get a gift-im just mad i didnt get a happy birthday. Especially since i made a huge deal out of their b days. For D I got her breakdast, jeans and decorated her class. For L i got her flowers, a necklace and shoes. FOr S i made her cookies and decorated her locker. FOr H i got her a 5 dollar starbucks gift card and a burned cd. But for L and D they had parties and I didnt. But the flowers, breakfast and decorated class wasnt on the party. BUt isnt that crappy? NAd when I told D she just said I said happy burthday and i was like no and then she just walked away. she looked like she felt bad. Ya right. And When I told S she said nobody called me so i didnt know it was your birthdya. Ya right again. What should I do??

why u will so care about whether your friends to remember your birthday?..........if you really want them to know........u can give them a hint........eg before your birthday u ask them come out to hang out somewhere.........when your friend ask why u muz choose that day u tell them is ur big day.....

Reply:i think that you should talk with ur friends, make sure that u guys are still bffs,hehehe, miscommunication like this can ruin friendships,dont blame them this much for forgetting ur bday,i know it was kinda a lame thing 2 do,but making it an ever bigger deal wont solve anything

Reply:Maybe since it was in the summer, if you guys don't talk over the summer I really wouldn't be offended. I would not care if they bought me anything, but let them know in advance if you want them to say Happy Birthday. If you make a big deal out of it, you lose your friends and what is more important... friends of a big fuss over a birthday? Don't make a big deal out of their birthday if you don't want... do something smaller and don't expect to give only to receive.
Reply:My friends did the same to one year and i brought it up they felt so bad. The next year they threw me an awesome suprise party.

Unless she is being mean or incosiderate in other areas, I would forget it. If she is a really close friend, explain how this hurt you.
