WESTRINGIA rosmariniformis 'Wynyabbie Gem' What can you tell me about this plant?

My friend gave me one for my birthday in a 5 gallon pot. She bought it because it was "cute". I took the tag back to the nursery where she got it. They said they got it by mistake %26amp; couldn't tell me anything about it. I took it to target, home depot, and several other garden centers and nurserys.... same story. never heard of it before. small lite greenish leaves, gray undersides, small bluish flowers. Real sharp looking plant. I love it %26amp; want to know how to care for it? Please, no web links. Just some info I on what %26amp; how. Thanks.

MASTER GARDENER TO THE RESCUE.

W. rosmariniformis 'W.G.'. Great plant. Great BIG plant!

from australia, spreading to 3-6 feet tall, 5-10 feet wide, rather loose growth with med green-gray leaves. white undersides, slightly smaller then rosemary leaves.

the 'Wynyabbie Gem' is a wonderful, large drought tolerent, background plant with small light lavender flowers. I love this plant.

Any real good nursery will know of it and can order you more. it's just now being 'discovered' by plant collectors. unfortunately it's size limits it's use in smaller gardens. but if i could have butt one plant in my garden, of all known plants, this would be my choice.
