What is the best gift for a favourite teacher?

Books? Flowers? A bunch of fruits? Or a diary?? When i was ten years old, i used to bake cookies for my favourite teacher as her birthday gift...any suggestion?

What is the best gift for a favourite teacher?
yeah i'd say either cookies or cupcakes. it's what i would do no matter how old i am.
Reply:Buy a book. chose well. try something in the teacher area that came out last, wrap it well and put your own card in it.
Reply:I made sugared almonds and wrapped them in clear tubes with ribbons... I think its nicer to make something and sugar coated almonds are easy and Delicious.....
Reply:A gift card to someplace (Walmart, Office Depot, Target, a local classroom supply store, etc....). Too many teacher's, across the country, have to spend their own money on classroom supplies that this would be a great gift!
Reply:gift certificate is a great idea. either a restaurant or a place to get her hair or nails done.
Reply:I would choose a useable little container, such as Rubbermaid, and fill it up with things she can use in her classroom. Stickers, award notepads, pencils, sticky notes, etc. They do use a lot of their own money on the little things.

Stick something just for her in it too, a box of chocolates or package of candy.
Reply:A book of poems/short stories by his/ her favourite author

A bunch of daisies and a lovely big red apple

A colorful organizer

A set of pens

I dunno - these are gifts which I would give... :-D I usually give books, they seem to appreciate that a lot!!
Reply:An appple and a card but if you say to my favorite teacher make sure you spell F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E RIGHT!
Reply:a mix cd ...keep them up to date on what the kids are listening to
Reply:As a teacher myself, I can honestly say having somebody care enough to bring a present is enough :) It's all in the thought for me!
Reply:A gift certificate to her favorite restaurant!
Reply:My sister is a grade school teacher and is always stressed out. One student gave her a gift certificate for a free massage and it was the best gift a student ever gave her!!!
Reply:favorite is the key put together a nice little poem and frame it not too much $$$$and they will love it mine still sits upon many teachers desks!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:The best gift you can give to a teacher is a thank you note telling him/her what an impact they have made on your life...what they have taught you and how it will help you in life. Teachers want to know that their hard work and effort has touched your life. Teachers also feel as if you are one of their own children. They pray for you, wonder what you will be when you grow up, etc.

Keep in touch with your teachers....stay in their lives and let them know what you are doing. Another great gift with the letter could be a picture of you in a small frame.
Reply:any of those would be good. or a gift certificate for fav restaurant, etc. that way she could take her significant other or someone like that and enjoy a nite out :)
Reply:an educational text book
Reply:During the year the best possible gift is a gift card to a school supply store or even dollar store or walmart. Teachers spend a lot of their own money on supplies because of the cuts in education.

At the end of the year your options should be more personal.
Reply:GEt her a gift certificate for gas
Reply:My daughter and I recently bought a Nice 30 minute meals Rachael Ray cook book for her teacher. She loved it!
