My girlfriend's father invited me to suprise her at a birthday dinner tomorrow at some resturant. It's a family thing but everyone tells me I should bring some flowers for her. You know, nothing like roses, but just some flowers for her b-day. Wouldn't that distract a bit? Is it a good idea?

oh yeah, don't arrive empty handed. You could even bring a wrapped gift (what's inside will depend on how serious your relationship is right now...if it's serious, then I suggest jewelry ...if it is not, then maybe a CD or nice book).
